A California native, Kim comes from a strong theater background, having performed in numerous professional productions in both New York and Los Angeles. She has studied at the prestigious Actors Studio and has worked alongside such Hollywood heavyweights as Shelley Winters, Jack Nicholson, and Mark Rydell. Beginning at the age of eight, Kim got her start doing a shampoo commercial with her mother, who was also an actress. With experience ranging from comedy at the esteemed Groundlings, as well as Second City, to working in numerous dramatic parts, Kim's television debut was a recurring role on the CBS soap opera, "The Young and the Restless." Soon to follow was a starring role in the feature film adaptation of John Patrick Shanley's award-winning play "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" for HBO Films.
